Udo Walz and Carsten Thamm-Walz were married since 2008. When the celebrity barber died, his partner couldn't be with him.
The celebrity hairdresser Udo Walz died surprisingly on Friday (November 20th). The public did not notice that the 76-year-old was previously ill. Husband Carsten Thamm-Walz reports to the "Bild" newspaper: "He had a diabetes shock and fell into a coma." Walz had been in hospital for two and a half weeks. Thamm-Walz couldn't be with him in his last hours.
The 50-year-old was in quarantine. "I didn't have Corona, but I had contact with someone," he explains. Entering the hospital to visit his husband in the intensive care unit was therefore not possible for him. The deeper the pain is now: "I'm standing here now and my husband is no longer there. It's terrible."
