UE Fits: Ultimate Ears launches headphones that adapt to everyone’s morphology

It took more than two years for Ultimate Ears to decide to launch its first pair of true wireless headphones on the French market. Indeed, hitherto reserved for the American market, EU Fits are now available for sale in France, Germany, Canada and the United Kingdom.

To design these UE Fits, Ultimate Ears says it draws on years of experience designing custom IEM headphones for the professional world (UE CSX, UE Pro, etc.). Last July, we also talked about UE Drops, Ultimate Ears headphones designed from a 3D scan of the user’s ears. With the UE Fits, the process is simpler, because the earphones are directly equipped with tips that adapt to the morphology of their wearer. In fact, the tips are made of a gel which, during a process of about sixty seconds, takes the shape of your ears to provide optimal comfort, support and passive isolation.

Aside from this feature, the UE Fits are classic earphones that still stand out with an atypical design with a long branch protruding from either side of the body of the earphone. Devoid of active noise reduction features, they feature 10 mm speakers, are resistant to splashing water (IPX3 certification) and have an autonomy of 8 hours (up to 20 hours with the case). They communicate via Bluetooth 5.0 and are compatible with SBC, AAC and aptX codecs.

UE Fits are already available for €229.99.
