He did it again: SVP Federal Councilor Ueli Maurer (70) doesn’t want to change in his old days. The provocation irritates him too much. Playing with scratching the principle of collegiality.
This time, Maurer is demonstratively wearing a shirt from the “Freiheitstrychler”, the cowbell-ringing group that has recently accompanied the protest marches against the Corona measures – most recently on Saturday at an unauthorized demonstration in Lucerne, where the police expelled the Trychler pronounced.
With the shirt, Maurer comes out as a supporter of the critics of the measures that the entire Federal Council has decided. Recently, for example, the expansion of the Covid certificate to include interiors.

Maurer’s picture is said to have been taken on Sunday at the SVP Wald summit in the Zurich Oberland. The annual summit meeting is alternately organized by the SVP of the Hinwil district, the SVP district party Münchwilen and the SVP Toggenburg.
