Ugo Lartiche (Koh-Lanta): this teammate in Fort Boyard who made him “die laughing”

One of the heroes of the TF1 adventure game takes part on Saturday July 9 at 9:10 p.m. on France 2 in Fort Boyard. This adventurer, who lives a waking dream in front of the cameras, is always thirsty for new horizons.

What memories do you have of the filming of Fort Boyard?

Ugo Lartiche: I spent a day out of time. From the morning, there is atmosphere on the fort. I saw the kid that I was, who watched the show with his parents twenty years ago. I never thought I’d be there one day…

What were your favorite challenges?

Underwater trials! They combine the physical and stress management. I’m not a fan of challenges that are only physical, those where you have to be the strongest.

The complicity seems total between the members of the team. Was that really the case?

Yes, we all got along well. I found that Bruno Guillon was full the whole time. He sends floodgates upon floodgates. Emilie Broussouloux made me die of laughter.

We have known you since 2012, the date of your victory at Koh Lanta. How do you live your popularity?

My participation in Koh Lanta all stars last year also put a big spotlight on me. And, thanks to that, I have lots of great projects. Fort Boyard and Koh Lanta were shows that I dreamed of doing. So my dream has come true! These are programs close to nature in which it is a question of commitment, of survival… It corresponds to my personality.

The competition all stars was marred by a case of cheating. How did you experience this 20e season ?

I only remember good things from my adventure. I would simply have liked to win and not finish second on the posts…

Are you still in contact with the other candidates?

Yes, always, but we speak very little. And the distance doesn’t help… I’m in Perpignan, at the other end of France, far from their world.

You exercised the profession of falconer until now. What are you going to do now that you want to change jobs?

I want to turn a page after fifteen years spent with birds of prey. I want to do a job more in contact with nature. I’m 40, it’s time to get started. They make me proposals but they are not always interesting. Anyway, I don’t want to be flirted with!

So far, what is your immediate project?

In September, go around the Pyrénées-Orientales on foot, by bike and on a paddleboard. I will take fifteen or twenty days. Certainly I dream of Papua, but my department is great!
