Ukraine exported 1 million tonnes of cereals, says Zelensky

(Reuters) – Ukraine has exported one million tonnes of grain by sea since the agreement reached under the aegis of Turkey and the United Nations to end the Russian blockade, Volodimir Zelensky said on Friday evening.

Since the agreement was signed in Istanbul on July 22, 44 ships have left the port of Odessa, on the Black Sea, to deliver their cargoes to 15 countries, specified the Ukrainian president.

Ukraine has received loading requests for another 70 vessels, he added, repeating his target of three million tonnes exported per month.
