Ukraine: Macron and Modi agree to work together to end the conflict

PARIS (Reuters) – French President Emmanuel Macron and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi have agreed to work together to end the conflict in Ukraine, the Elysee Palace said.

The two leaders spoke by telephone on Tuesday about “the war led by Russia in Ukraine and (of) its destabilizing consequences for the rest of the world”, indicated the French presidency in a press release.

The head of state spoke earlier in the day with Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky, to whom he expressed his concern about the security threat posed by the presence and actions of the Russian armed forces. Ukrainian nuclear facilities.
