Her yellow “Kill Bill” look was a thorn in her side

Quentin Tarantino has revealed that Uma Thurman wasn’t a fan of her iconic film outfit in “Kill Bill”.
In 2003 Uma Thurman (51) slipped into the bride’s yellow suit for the first time. Quentin Tarantino (58) now has in an interview with “Cinema Blend” reveal that the actress couldn’t make friends with her black and yellow “Kill Bill” outfit at first: “Uma hated the yellow tracksuit. She hated it. She didn’t understand it and said she looked like a popsicle – a banana ice cream on a stick. “
The actress had practically no idea who Bruce Lee (1940-1973) was. “I had to show her ‘Bruce Lee – My Last Fight’ before she got it,” Tarantino said, referring to the look, adding, “She probably doesn’t even remember it, but she said at first, ‘You won’t make me look like a clown! ‘”
What could “Kill Bill Vol.3” look like?
Director Quentin Tarantino has already indicated several times that there should be “Kill Bill: Vol. 3”. As early as 2004 he said in one Interview with “Entertainment Weekly”: “The star will be Vernita Green’s daughter Nikki. In “Kill Bill: Vol. 1” Vivica A. Fox (56) alias Vernita Green was killed by the bride (Uma Thurman) in the opening scene. A potential third part is supposed to be about Green’s daughter, who wants to avenge the death of her mother. Fox could imagine all-rounder Zendaya (24) in the daughter role.
