Big change to come in Un Si Grand Soleil! In the new episode broadcast this evening at 8:45 p.m. on France 2, the character of Lucille Salama changes her appearance, which risks taking a good number of viewers by surprise. Why such a change ?

Performed since the launch of the series in August 2018 by Naïma Rodric, Lucille is now embodied by a new actress, Alicia Dadoun, seen in the cinema in the film Les Héritiers in 2014 and in the series Alice Nevers in 2015.

The reason ? Naïma Rodric, who was to start filming a new plot around her character last November, abruptly left the series. An “express” departure according to some actors in the series, having forced the production to replace the actress at short notice so as not to interfere with the filming schedule.

It’s a first for me to take over the role of someone“, confided Alicia Dadoun to the site Entertainment TV. “It was a challenge rich in emotions and very intense, but I did not try to resemble the Lucille who was interpreted by Naïma Rodric.”

The actress explains that she wanted to give a new identity to the character, who this evening will star Aïssam Medhem in the role of Akim, Lucille’s boyfriend, while the journalist will be involved in an investigation into a charismatic drug dealer who risk of mistreating their couple again.

What had been seen with the production was that there was no question of making a copy-paste but precisely of bringing something different.“Lucille will also be involved in a new plot from the week of January 24, involving Monette (Frédérique Kamatari), David (Quentin Gratias) and her in an evening that goes wrong.

It’s interesting to see this new trio form“, comments the actress. “What is nice is that it created new friendships between the three characters“who will find themselves involved in an investigation with drug use and theft of money as a result.

As for Naïma Rodric, who notably shot in the Sophie Cross and Cassandre series in 2021, she will soon be starring in the Belgian film Music Hole by David Mutzenmacher and Gaetan Liekens, and Olivier Marchal’s next film, Overdose, which will be released in 2022 on Amazon Prime.
