VICTOR IS DETERMINED TO SELL THE SAVAGES

In the morning, Virgil confides in Alix on Victor’s proposal. The latter has indeed offered to sell him his shares in the straw hut for a derisory amount of €30,000. Seeing this as a great opportunity, the gallery owner pushes Virgile to think carefully. Although he does not have this amount, he especially wants to avoid scamming his friend and returning to work at the Savages. For him, this page of his life is over.

For his part, Victor meets Laetitia at the bank to apply for a loan, pretending that he needs this money to do work for the Savages in the coming days. Although a loan is perfectly possible, Victor will still have to put together a file and pass a certain number of medical examinations given his age. However, Victor has no time to waste. Annoyed, he loses his temper and leaves the office furious.

A few steps away, Manu and Thierry observe Victor leaving the bank. The opportunity for Captain Léoni to pay a short visit to his ex-wife in the hope of learning more. Even if she is bound by professional secrecy, Laetitia reveals to her the reasons for Victor’s arrival before specifying that he seems to need money urgently.

Meanwhile, Virgile calls Claire and tells her about her father’s proposal. Revelations that do not reassure the nurse at all.

At the police station, Manu reports to Commissioner Becker that Victor is looking to borrow €30,000 urgently. The policeman thinks that this money is not for him but to help Laurence Roussillon. Indeed, the latter would be suffering from terminal cancer. It would be for this reason that she would not have returned from her leave.

At the straw hut, Victor is visited by a certain Mr. Croizille who is interested in buying the Savages. Enzo then waits until Victor has shown his potential buyer around the premises to question him about his intentions. Although he tries to sidestep the subject, Claire’s father eventually tells him that he is looking for an associate. However, he assures him that it is not done and that he is still thinking.

Upon returning home, Enzo informs Claire of Victor’s intentions. While Enzo has no desire to see the Savages fall into anyone’s hands, Claire doesn’t know what to do to help her father. Enzo then reproaches him for giving up.

THE TENSION IS PALPABLE BETWEEN CLAUDINE AND JOHANNA

Claudine summons her team to the meeting room. After losing four clients to the Delarive affair, Claudine regrets that the firm’s reputation was destroyed in just a few weeks. When Johanna points out that their reputation suffers above all from the twisted and unwinnable files that the firm agrees to deal with, Claudine replies that any case is winnable provided that one does not sabotage one’s own files.

To say the tension is palpable is an understatement. When Florent tries to lighten the atmosphere, Claudine informs them that she has just signed a big contract with the OCI company. She also told Guilhem that she made a commitment to Elisabeth so that he would not be involved in the case. A blow for the lawyer.

NOÉMIE HEARS BAD NEWS

At the farm, Élodie announces to Noémie that her father has given up the organic label. Indeed, William thinks that with the financial crisis, people no longer have the means to buy quality products. Bad news for Noémie. As it is important to stop using pesticides, the young farmer has the idea of setting up a cooperative of producers. In addition to sharing their respective experiences, they will also be able to guarantee the price of their products.

At the end of the day, Noémie joins Akim, Ludo and Margot at the roommate and tells them about her project. During their discussion on organic farming, Margot imagines how to mobilize the consumer. According to her, a system should be found that would encourage consumers to buy organic and investors to invest in the sector, with tax incentives for example.
