Friday March 22 in Un si grand soleil…

Eliott will have to turn himself in to the authorities

In the morning, Eve asks Manu if Eliott’s evidence is sufficient to incriminate Bernier. Although the documents have no legal value, the police officer hopes so.

For his part, Ludo calls Marc Mourre and tells him in detail about the search that took place at the Chalon home. Before writing an article, the journalist meets prosecutor Bernier to question him about the motivations for this search. Obviously, the prosecutor refuses to answer his questions and even threatens to have him arrested for contempt of court if he continues to bother him.

The prosecutor then calls Muriel and asks her to tell Eliott that he is not angry with her for the little incident the day before. He also makes him understand that everything can be worked out if he calls him back quickly. While Muriel tries to find out if her companion is having problems, Bernier dodges the question but insists that Eliott call him quickly.

After hanging up, Muriel reports to Eve her discussion with the prosecutor. Eve then tells him that Eliott refused to fabricate false evidence on behalf of Bernier and that he is doing everything to bring him down. Muriel therefore understands that her son’s father risks prison and is worried. For Eve, her son made the right choice.

In court, Michel Picard, the deputy prosecutor, takes stock of the ongoing investigations with Judge Alphand. The latter quickly mentioned the article published in Le Midi Libre on the search of the Chalons and the strange behavior of the prosecutor Bernier. Shortly after, the discussion is interrupted by a call from Commissioner Becker who asks Prosecutor Picard to come to his office for a delicate case.

At the same time, William and Ludo ask themselves questions about Eliott’s disappearance. Élodie, who has just spoken to Élise on the phone, then informs her that the young man was not out of prison as he had said but that he was on the run. Regretting having let him settle on the farm, Ludo says he is certain that he is up to something.

At nightfall, Manu and Commissioner Becker play Eliott’s recording to prosecutor Picard. If this is not the first time that a thug has tried to trap a magistrate, prosecutor Picard recognizes that his colleague’s comments remain disturbing. According to him, if the facts are proven, it is very serious. But before notifying the chancellery, Picard needs Eliott to come and testify in person, which means that Eve’s son will have to become a prisoner…

Claire struggles to get over Kira’s departure

Claire is very affected by Kira’s departure. And even though it has only been a day since the young woman left for her new high school, the nurse struggles to hold back her tears. Florent then tries to cheer him up.

Claire then calls Élisabeth to confide in her how much she is having trouble dealing with Kira’s departure. Although her daughter seems very happy at her new school, the nurse finds that her departure was a little abrupt. Élisabeth therefore makes him understand that this is completely normal because a page is turning for the whole family. Claire also takes advantage of this discussion to get news of Alain. Unfortunately, Élisabeth replies that they are not having a good time and that they are no longer able to speak or understand each other. Since they are a strong couple, Claire is convinced that things will work out in the end.

For his part, Florent discusses Kira’s departure with Johanna. Now without children at home, the lawyer sees himself as a retired couple. Johanna, who sees it as a way for them to enjoy their life as a couple, advises her colleague to go for a spa weekend.

At high school, relations are always tense between Louis and Thaïs. On the advice of her friends, the young woman offers to accompany Louis to go bowling, which he accepts with pleasure. Indeed, Thaïs finally understood that this story only concerned Louis and Kira. And if anyone should blame Louis, it’s Kira.

At the end of the day, Florent comes home and finds Claire crying in Kira’s room. The latter then admits that she cannot get over the departure of their daughter. To cheer him up, Florent invites him to spend the weekend as a couple.
