LAURINE IS READY FOR ANYTHING TO DESTROY THE WATERCRESS COUPLE
The atmosphere is particularly tense among the Mourres. As Louis sulks, Marc tries to figure out what’s going on. Without beating around the bush, the teenager asks his father if the woman he is seeing is indeed Robin’s mother. While the journalist reminds him that it is none of his business, Louis loses his temper and reproaches him for having blown up the Cresson family as well as his friendship with Robin. After having presented his excuses to her, Marc assures that he did nothing to seduce Chloé and that it fell on him. In vain. Angry, Louis leaves, slamming the door.
Meanwhile, Chloe would like to find a solution to get out of this situation. As Evan implies that he wants to leave her, Chloe lets out a few tears. Although she admits to having made a huge mistake, the clerk claims that she would never have questioned their relationship if he had cheated on her. Only, Evan scoffs at his assumptions. When Chloé declares that she doesn’t want to lose him, he retorts that it was necessary to think of it before.
At worst, Chloé later confides in Cécile. Even though she has no desire to lose her husband, she can’t stop thinking about Marc. Cécile then advises him to leave the journalist to save his marriage. Chloe may agree, but she can’t do it.
In high school, Robin asks Louis if he can spend the evening at home because he can’t stand the atmosphere at home anymore. Uncomfortable, Louis declines by making him believe that he must go to the cinema with his mother.
For his part, Marc calls Léonor. After informing her that Louis was aware of his affair with Chloé, the journalist tells him that a woman pretending to be his girlfriend called Evan to tell him everything. When he tries to find out if it is her, Léonor, who takes it badly, retorts that she would never have done such a thing. However, Marc doubts it.
At the hospital, Evan receives a call from Chloé but prefers to ignore it, which has not escaped Laurine who pushes him to confide. Although he resents his wife for having cheated on him, he does not see himself living without her. As he considers giving her another chance, Laurine reminds him of all the harm she has done to her family. Anyway, Evan still thinks of coming back to her. A disappointment for Laurine.
At the end of the day, Chloé receives a message from Marc to which she does not reply.
Laurine meanwhile returns home and complains to her brother about the failure of his plan. However, she has no intention of giving up and intends to find a way to destroy the Cresson couple.
JULES MANIPULATES KIRA
In the morning, Kira receives a message from Jules. Having noticed this, Louis thinks that the boss of Tip Green is flirting with his girlfriend. Kira then certifies that this is not the case before specifying that he sent her a message to tell her about his commission. Immediately, Louis apologizes to her.
At the hospital, Béatrice, Kira and Thaïs’ diabetic client, informs Doctor Alphand that she wants to stop the insulin injections. The doctor therefore specifies that it is impossible since his pancreas does not produce enough hormones. An answer that disappoints Beatrice, especially since she thought she had treatable diabetes. Alain confirms that this is the case but nevertheless specifies that she will have to adhere to a strict lifestyle while waiting for a possible switch to oral antidiabetics.
Subsequently, Béatrice joins Cathy, the canteen employee. On the advice of her friend, Béatrice finally makes the decision to stop the injections of insulin and to continue the infusions of berberine.
Meanwhile, Jules hands Thaïs and Kira their commissions. During the discussion, Kira informs him that Beatrice has seen her blood sugar drop since taking the berberine infusions. Since she finds it more effective than insulin, Kira offers to advertise this argument more. Only, Jules enjoins him not to put anything in writing because the pharmaceutical laboratories would fall on them.
In the process, Jules accompanies Kira to the tram. The opportunity for him to apologize to him for having sealed the atmosphere by talking about his mother the last time they saw each other. Kira then points out that he has the right to be vulnerable and then ends up revealing to him that she also lost her mother when she was little. After telling her that he’s never felt so close to someone in his life, Jules implies that he has feelings for her. When he is about to kiss her, he changes his mind and then gives her a new Japanese book that he particularly likes.
Later, Jules calls Boris. Since the latter is trying to find out where he is with his next target, Jules replies that she is ripe. Indeed, he did the trick of the dead mother to her and pretends to be her friend in order to seduce her. And as much to say that he likes challenges. The more difficult it is, the more it excites him.
