Thursday, August 18 in Such a big sun…
MARC FEELS OVERWHELMED BY THE SITUATION
Jacques is still in a coma and shows no signs of waking up. He has no physical reaction and his brain activity is minimal. As it is impossible for Doctor Lewis to know how the situation will evolve, she asks Marc to prepare for the possibility that his condition will deteriorate. A hard blow for Louis’ father.
Lost, Marc calls Léonor and tells her that he is afraid of having to disconnect his father if his condition does not improve. His ex-wife then enjoins him not to torture himself for the moment and to talk about it again only if the question arises one day.
Louis, who overheard their conversation, immediately believes that Myriam put this idea into her father’s head. Léonor then defends her ex-husband’s companion and makes her son understand that he is unfair to her.
Only, Louis does not lose his temper and confides in Kira. Indeed, he is terribly angry with Myriam and remains convinced that it was she who pushed his grandfather to suicide. While the teenager defends Myriam, Louis loses his temper and goes to the hospital to see his grandfather. There, Janet sees him banging on the bedroom door in anger before leaving the premises.
Not far from there, Elisabeth and Alain arrive at the airport for a week’s vacation in Majorca. Only, the businesswoman is annoyed because Myriam hung up on her.
Meanwhile, Myriam tries to cheer Marc up and tells him how much she loves him. Even if things are not going very well, he declares that she is the most beautiful thing that has happened to him in years before specifying that he will no longer be able to live without her. When the couple kiss, Louis comes home and apologizes to them for his attitude and then asks them for permission to stay at their place to sleep. Which they gladly accept.
A few hours later, Louis rummages through his mother-in-law’s purse and steals a bunch of keys. He then makes his father believe that he forgot his phone at a friend’s to make a copy of the keys.
JADE SPENDS HER FIRST DAY AT L. COSMETICS
Jade spent the weekend revising her accounting classes. Unfortunately, the young woman does not feel ready at all for her first day at L. Cosmétiques. To reassure her, Ludo says everything will be fine and offers her a voucher for a massage so she can relax after work.
Later, Laurent shows Jade around the company and says he is very happy to have an assistant, then he introduces her to Myriam who welcomes her.
MARYLINE MAKES AN IMPORTANT DECISION
In Dakhla, Gary receives a call from his daughter who comes to hear from him. After praising the merits of the heavenly place in which he finds himself, Gary says he is ready to stay in Morocco if Paul offers him a job. In the meantime, he asks Inès to take care of the campsite in his absence.
After hanging up, Gary finds Paul and comes up with some ideas for attracting more upscale clientele for his hotel. Agree to rearrange his establishment, Paul would also like to hand over because he is aging. This is why he advises her to speak directly to Samy about it because he is the one who will take over the management of his hotel. A disappointment for Maryline’s son who already saw himself working for his stepfather.
It is therefore with a sulky face that Gary then joins his mother at the edge of the swimming pool and asks her to convince Paul to leave him the management of the hotel. Annoyed, Maryline refuses and only wants one thing: for her son to leave! Besides, she has reserved a flight for him for Montpellier this afternoon and advises him to hurry so as not to miss it.
Gary therefore returns to Montpellier and makes his daughter believe that he has finally decided to stay working at the campsite because he is comfortable there.
Meanwhile, Maryline has made her decision and intends to stay in Morocco with Paul. Indeed, she wants to take advantage of every moment and share them with the man she loves. Although she adores her son, Maryline thinks it’s time to cut the cord with him.
