Thursday, January 27 in Such a big sun…
LUCILLE CONFESS THE TRUTH TO AKIM
Lucille has a dream in which she seems to be reliving moments from the evening that she has forgotten. In this one, the journalist, Mo and David are having a drink at a man they don’t know.
The next morning, Akim sees his girlfriend taking medicine. She then makes him believe that she has a headache and then takes the opportunity to question him about the burglary of the pensioner who was robbed of 400,000 euros in cash. Unfortunately, the policeman reminds her that they have decided not to talk about work any more in their relationship.
Later, Lucille meets David at the port. After apologizing for having spoken badly to him the day before, the nurse admits to having taken 10,000 euros from the bag. Against all expectations, the journalist is understanding, explaining that she would have done the same thing in her place. The two new friends then agree not to say anything to Mo who is already quite distressed by this whole story. Shortly after, Lucille tells her dream to David but he doesn’t remember anything.
For his part, Akim confides to his brother that he has the impression that Lucille is hiding something from him. Indeed, he noticed that she had strange dreams at night and that she had been taking pills for a few days. Bilal therefore advises him to have a discussion with her.
Afterwards, Lucille finds Mo and tells her about her memories. If that doesn’t mean anything to her, Inès’ mother tells her on the other hand that she met Joël, the man they saw on Monday evening on the banks of the Lez. Lucille then asks him to contact him in order to speak to him. Back home, Mo sends her a message.
As night falls, Akim pushes Lucille to tell him what’s upsetting her. Uncomfortable, she ends up admitting to him that she may have slept with another man and that she is taking preventive treatment against HIV. Although she is not sure of anything because she was on drugs, Akim takes her things and leaves.
ÉLISABETH GETS TO KNOW JENNIFER
At the Bastides, Arthur warns his grandmother that he will be home late because he is spending the evening with Jennifer. As she will be home late too, Elisabeth insists that he spend the evening at home with his girlfriend. Although he’s not sure she’s comfortable coming to their house, Arthur promises to talk to her about it.
When he arrives at work, he invites the young woman to come to his house. She may not be thrilled with the idea of spending time with her boss, but she ends up accepting it anyway.
Embarrassed, Jennifer then confides in Yasmine. The latter tries to reassure her but Jennifer cannot help thinking that they are not part of the same world. Yasmine then points out to him that we no longer see the differences when we love but Jennifer is not so sure.
At the end of the day, Arthur shows his girlfriend around his house when Elisabeth comes home earlier than expected. Feeling unwell, Arthur takes Jennifer to his room.
Later, Alain returns in turn. If she found Jennifer charming, Elisabeth however did not appreciate her appearance.
