BECKER RIPS MANU’S RESIGNATION LETTER

At the police station, Superintendent Becker reads Manu’s letter of resignation before putting it back in its envelope and slipping it into his jacket pocket.

Meanwhile, Captain Léoni strains his nerves on a punching bag. Back home, he attracts the wrath of his companion who worried about him in his absence. After having presented his excuses to him, Manu explains that he left boxing because he could not sleep. Indeed, he keeps thinking about Tresson and struggles to understand why he disappeared into the wild. If the latter was killed, he fears that the case will be dismissed. Eve then encourages him to contact Becker to tell him that he does not want to quit. Only, Manu reminds him that he still pointed his gun at someone. Inexcusable behavior for him.

Not far from there, Christophe, who is particularly happy, suggests that Cécile go away for a romantic weekend, which she happily accepts.

Afterwards, Cécile goes to the police station to review the investigation with Commissioner Becker. According to them, two hypotheses are plausible: either Tresson was killed, or he staged his own disappearance to escape them. In the impasse, Becker nevertheless obtains additional time to seek the side of the Tresson family.

Later, Alex meets Becker and pleads Manu’s case. Although the latter is an excellent policeman, Becker points out, however, that he has gone too far, especially since it is not the first time.

For her part, Amber goes to Les Sauvages to speak to Enzo and then clarifies that what happened to Mélissa prompted her to post a testimony against James on social networks. Many victims have since contacted her and say they are ready to file a complaint. Besides, Amber also gave a few interviews to journalists to tell her story and what James pushed her to do to trap Mélissa. Moved, Amber then adds that she is sorry. Not holding it against her, Enzo even congratulates her on her courage.

At the police station, Alex informs James of Tresson’s disappearance. As his business was doing quite well, the photographer believes that his accomplice simply ran off.

In the evening, Becker tears up Manu’s resignation letter before leaving the police station.

DIMITRI GETS CLOSER TO ALINE

In the morning, Aline gives Dimitri a tour of the herd. After listening to her talk about her passion for bulls, Dimitri invites Aline for a coffee to get to know her better. Having to work, she gives him an appointment the next day for a horseback ride, which he accepts.

Back at the agency, Dimitri tells Eve about his day and as much to say that he is certain that Aline is not insensitive to his charm. Even though their mission is progressing, Eve still needs concrete proof.

Subsequently, Eve calls Thibault to keep him informed. Although he loves his wife, he doesn’t want her to stay with him out of pity. This is why he demands to obtain irrefutable proof that Aline is cheating on him in order to move on. Right after, Thibault hangs up with a smile on his face…

INÈS HAS MADE A BIG DECISION

Inès made a big decision. Indeed, the young woman decided to settle in Madrid to start a new chapter in her life. It must be said that the city of Montpellier reminds her too much of Mélissa and that she therefore needs a change of scenery. His departure being scheduled in two days, Fabrice, the owner of 101, gives him his full balance.

Later, Inès goes to the campsite where she announces to her father that she is going to leave. A hard blow for Gary who can’t help but shed a few tears at the idea of his daughter leaving the nest.
