Wednesday January 19 in Un si grand soleil…
AKIM TRAPS ADAM
Certain that his girlfriend is cheating on him, Akim takes advantage that Lucille is in the shower to rummage through his phone. He then comes across Adam’s interview and understands that she is investigating a drug dealer who, not content with being known to the police, does not hesitate to flirt with her. Akim therefore decides to shadow Lucille. When he sees her getting into Adam’s car, he takes a picture of them.
Back at the police station, Akim does some research and discovers that the man who was with Lucille is none other than Adam Martin. Although the police have been trying to catch him for years, he still has a woman to provide him with an alibi and that’s why he is nicknamed “to the happiness of the ladies”. Little reassured, Akim explains to Thierry that he may have a way to bring him down.
Meanwhile, Lucille and her photographer are in the middle of a photo shoot with Adam to illustrate the article. At the end of the shoot, the young woman tells the mobster that she will contact him again when his paper is completed. While he asks to see her again, the journalist wishes him a good day before leaving.
Subsequently, Akim joins Lucille to warn her that he will be home late then joins Thierry to tell her that he has information on Adam Martin thanks to one of his informants. Without the agreement of the prosecutor, the two police officers then decide to trap him by pretending to be clients.
Adam falls into the trap and goes to the meeting place. On the spot, Akim and Thierry stop him claiming that he burned a fire to carry out a check. After getting him out of the car, Thierry searches him and finds drugs. If the dealer first tries to make them believe that it belongs to a friend, Akim quickly discovers several other bags of drugs in the trunk of his vehicle. It was enough for the police to take him to the station.
JENNIFER AND ARTHUR GET A COUPLE
Without hearing from Jennifer since the day before, Arthur arrives at the hospital rather annoyed. When Jennifer asks to speak to him, Bastide’s grandson is harsh on her. Convinced that she will leave him, he prefers to take the lead and put an end to their relationship. In misunderstanding, the young woman confides in Tim. Spending an intimate moment with Arthur, she realized she no longer had feelings for Pierre and ended their affair the night before. Only, Pierre didn’t take it well and blackmailed him into suicide all night. The caregiver then tells her that Arthur left her. Surprised by his friend’s reaction, Tim thinks there must be an explanation.
Shortly after, Tim finds Arthur and tells him about the discussion he had with Jennifer. Since the latter blames himself terribly for this mistake, Tim advises him to make up for his mistake. Without waiting, Arthur goes to meet Jennifer to offer her his most sincere apologies. As he was afraid that she would regret what had happened between them, he preferred to stop everything to avoid suffering. To seal their reconciliation, they kiss.
At the end of his shift, Arthur warns Alain that he won’t be coming home for dinner because he has an appointment with someone. However, the doctor is not fooled and has understood that he was dating Jennifer. Happy for him, Alain gives him his blessing before joining his girlfriend at the restaurant. Seeing her disappointed not to see Arthur, Alain tells her that his grandson has fallen in love with a caregiver. Elisabeth then struggles to hide her jealousy when she learns that he is aware of Arthur’s love life before her.
