JOHANNA LEADS THE INVESTIGATION
In the morning, Johanna calls Milo Pelletier. After asking him to put his anger aside for a few minutes, the young woman reveals to him that they have both been trapped. Unfortunately, the contractor does not believe her.

Shortly after Florent joins Claudine in her office to discuss current affairs. ALIX AND HELEN FABRICATE FALSE PROOF
At the workshop, Alix makes a false death certificate dating from 1903 with old paper unearthed at an antique dealer. It reads: “This morning of June 17, 1903 was found in the Lez, the body of a man who was visibly drowned. The puffy face of the stranger did not allow him to be identified, but a faded sketchbook in the name of Emmanuel Definod was found on him.“.
Ready to do anything to pocket the jackpot, Alix wants to hide this new evidence in the archives. An idea that does not please Hélène at all, who fears that Christian will discover the truth. Despite everything, Alix does not intend to let go so close to the goal.
At the same time, Ulysse shows Bilal his studio, who is amazed by the original paintings of the man he loves. When Ulysses says he is sorry not to be able to use the red they invented together, Bilal retorts that they will invent others.
In the middle of the night, Alix and Hélène enter the city archives and file proof of the existence of Definod. As they leave, the two women see the guard making his rounds. Alix and Hélène therefore hide in the toilets and decide to spend the night there to avoid being spotted.
The next morning, they leave the archives and Alix takes the opportunity to join Marc in order to silence the rumor started by Chaligny. As he will need irrefutable proof to confirm his statements, Alix enjoins him to find a deed of property, an article from the period or a death certificate. Marc then entrusts the research to the new intern.
