Un si grand soleil (spoilers): A character dies and Maryline leaves Montpellier for good

On Friday August 19 in Un si grand soleil (8:45 p.m., France 2), a new tragedy strikes the city of Montpellier. For her part, Maryline makes the decision to leave her city permanently to settle in Dakhla.

In the Friday, August 19 episode of Un si grand soleil, Louis (Sylvain Boccara) continues to act as if he no longer resents his father and Myriam (Pauline Paolini) for his grandfather’s accident. Having no reason to suspect that he is pretending, Myriam confesses to Marc (César Méric) that she is relieved that her son, whom she greatly appreciates, no longer holds it against her. The couple plans a romantic meal for the evening, the teenager having planned to go to the cinema with Kira (Coline Ramos-Pinto). Later, Marc discusses with his colleague from Midi Libre who asks him how his family is doing. If the photographer is happy to be reconciled with his son, he remains worried about his father, still in a coma. His colleague then asks him what he intends to do with the exploitation, and underlines that selling would be the best option…

In the evening, Louis goes to a petrol station to fill up a can of petrol before entering L Cosmétiques. He takes care of the surveillance cameras and enters the warehouse using his spare keys. There he begins to pour gasoline on pallets of products when he hears a noise that stops him. In the offices next door, Myriam and Laurent (Khalid Maadour) are still working but Laurent, grateful to his boss for having hired an accounting assistant, tells him to go home and that he will finish alone. As she walks to her car and leaves a message for Marc saying that she is leaving the office, Myriam sees the open door of the warehouse and decides to go and see what is going on there. An hour later, Marc is worried about his absence and comes across Laurent while calling Myriam’s office. The two men wonder where she could be, and Laurent decides to go see for himself. When he in turn enters the warehouse, he is greeted by a vision of horror: Myriam is unconscious, lying on her stomach in a pool of blood…

Elisabeth Margoni leaves the series

Meanwhile in Dakhla, Maryline (Elisabeth Margoni) calls her son for him announce that she is going to settle in Morocco with Paul (François-Éric Gendron), with whom she is very happy. True to form, Gary (Alban Aumard) protests and argues that his whole life is in Montpellier, but his mother replies that she doesn’t have to justify herself. When Gary talks to his daughter about it, Inès (Maéva El Aroussi) agrees with her grandmother and, although she will miss her, says to herself very happy for Maryline. She takes the opportunity to tackle her father and his unhealthy attachment to her mother… Maryline then calls Inès and, with tears in her eyes, promises her that they will talk to each other every day. Finally it is to the roommate that Maryline must announce her departure. Like Inès, Bilal (Malik Elakehal El Miliani) and Ludo (Folco Marchi) are sad but want Maryline to be happy, whether in Montpellier or Dakhla.
