Un si grand soleil (spoilers): under threat, Christophe falls back into illegality

On September 2 in Un si grand soleil (France 2, 8:45 p.m.), Alix takes reckless risks, Cécile is upset by the Bellon affair and Christophe falls back into illegality…

In the episode ofsuch a big sun from Friday, September 2, 2022, prosecutor Bernier (Franck Adrien) puts pressure on judge Alphand (Marie-Gaëlle Cals). It is not normal for the investigation to stall like this. Moreover, now that Bellon injured an innocent teenager during a police intervention, he fears that the population will blame the police for doing their job badly. Touched by the story of young Mathias, Cécile decides to go see him at the hospital.

For her part, Alix (Nadia Fossier) is always looking for paintings to exhibit in her art gallery. She calls Claudine (Catherine Wilkening) to hear from her fellow collectors, but none of them want to lend great works to an unknown gallery. Claudine suggests that her friend exhibit more modest artists, but Alix doesn’t want to lower her expectations. She asks Claudine to give her the contact details of one of her friends. To convince her, she asks Ludo (Folco Marchi) to pose as her assistant. The art lover ends up giving in, unaware that the gallery has no insurance contract or trusted carriers. For her part, Alix succeeded in convincing Ulysse Brunel to exhibit his paintings in his gallery.

Christophe must operate on Patrice Angel

Following Christophe’s (Hubert Benhamdine) refusal to operate Angel on his aneurysm, Franck Bellon hides in front of his house and follows him. He follows him to the port, where Christophe finds Achille. The teenager is worried about his friend Mathias, who was seriously injured by Bellon. Very gifted in basketball, the teenager hoped to turn professional but could now never walk again. Christophe is surprised to learn that Achille was there when Mathias was knocked down. He makes her promise not to go and play in the city again. Later, at the veterinary office, Bellon goes to see Christophe and repeats to him that Angel needs a doctor. If he is not operated, he will die. Once again, the veterinarian refuses to help him, but Bellon threatens him. If he doesn’t help her, he will tell the police and his wife about his past activities.

Cornered, Christophe agrees to listen to Angel. His renal artery is about to tear, which explains his pain. Christophe advises him to go and have an emergency operation, on pain of dying in the next few days. On the other hand, he refuses to operate it himself, having neither the skills nor the equipment to do so. Once again, Bellon leaves him no choice. Before the operation, Angel calls his wife, Eva. This one decides to come to attend the intervention. For his part, Christophe finds Cécile. The judge is upset by what happened to Mathias and starts to cry…
