Many fans of the adventure series would certainly like an Uncharted 5, but is a release for PS5 likely? Developer Naughty Dog comments on this in an interview.

Sony’s Uncharted series includes four games and one spin-off. The PS5 upgrade to Uncharted 4 and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is imminent, but so far there has been no information on a sequel to the series.
But now the developer studio Naughty Dog gives some fans hope, because apparently the studio does not completely rule out Uncharted 5, as revealed in an interview with Gamesradar.
When asked if there will ever be a sequel to the Uncharted series, Shaun Escayg, the spin-off’s creative director, is very cautious.
He explains that one should never say never, after all everyone knows about the popularity of the Uncharted franchise. He definitely wants to see more of the world around Nathan Drake.
So fans don’t get a real confirmation that Uncharted 5 is coming, but at least the possibility and the interest of the studio is there.
Next up is Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection on January 28th. There is also an Uncharted movie coming to theaters on February 17th.
