MSI and the German car manufacturer Mercedes-AMG are getting closer to give rise to the marketing, in a limited series, of a (somewhat) particular laptop PC.
Didn’t you see it coming? We neither. On the occasion of Computex, which closes its doors this June 2 in Taipei, MSI and the German AMG announced an unexpected collaboration giving rise to the launch of a portable PC in the colors of the Teutonic manufacturer: the Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport . Marketed in a limited edition, the device takes up the main lines of the Stealth 16 Studio unveiled at the start of the year at CES and launched in stride.
To mark the occasion, however, the machine benefits from a few characteristics of its own, starting (of course) with the addition of AMG logos under the screen and on the hood, but also exclusive patterns and a new color “Selenite Grey”. The chassis, for its part, is made of an alloy of magnesium and aluminum, reflecting ” to an elegant image and pay homage to the robust Mercedes-AMG GT2 car “Said MSI in its press release. It will still be argued that these materials were already used on the original model.
Oled and power galore
Compared to the classic model, this limited edition can however count on an even better display quality, going from an IPS panel (Ultra HD+ or QHD+) to an Oled Ultra HD+ panel in 16:10 format. There is for the rest a 13ᵉ generation Core i9 coupled with an RTX 4000. In its press release, MSI does not specify which reference to wait for, but we imagine that it is the RTX 4070 used on the Most premium Stealth 16 Studio. The whole thing is anyway cooled by the Cooler Boost 5 system, used by MSI on its latest generations of gaming laptops.

In parallel, this Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Edition comes with a “ exclusive design cardboard box “. But also and above all with accessories (a mouse, a mouse pad, a USB key, a pocket, postcards and cable ties), displaying ” proudly features MSI and Mercedes-AMG Motorsport logos “.
