(Boursier.com) — In a letter received on May 19, 2022 by the AMF, supplemented in particular by a letter received on May 20, Mr. Xavier Niel declared that he crossed upwards on May 16, 2022, indirectly, through simplified joint-stock companies Rock Investment and NJJ Market that he controls, the thresholds of 25% of the capital and voting rights of the company Unibail-Rodamco-Westfieldand indirectly hold 37,560,108 URW shares representing the same number of voting rights, i.e. 27.07% of the capital and voting rights of this company.
This crossing is the result of an off-market acquisition of shares. On this occasion, the company Rock Investment declared that it had individually crossed the same thresholds upwards.
Xavier Niel acts in concert with the companies NJJ Holding, NJJ Market and Rock Investment which he controls. They do not intend to take control of the URW company, but plan to continue their purchases depending on market conditions. They do not plan to seek appointment to the company’s supervisory board or management board, being reminded here that Mr. Xavier Niel is already a member of the company’s supervisory board. Finally, they support the strategy defined by the Supervisory Board and the Management Board of the company and the operations that would be proposed to implement this strategy.
