(Boursier.com) — Durable goods orders in the United States for the month of April rose 1.1% compared to the previous month, against -1% consensus and +3.3% in revised data, for the month of March. Excluding transport, these durable goods orders fell by 0.2%, against +0.3% for the revised reading of the previous month and -0.1% consensus.

Wholesale inventories for the same month also fell by 0.2% compared to the previous month, against a stability expected by economists, and after a decline of 0.3% in revised reading for the month of March .
