(Boursier.com) — The number of job vacancies fell slightly in the United States in May, but the figure for the previous month was revised upwards, a sign of the resilience of the labor market in the world’s largest economy. Job openings thus reached 9.824 million (9.9 million consensus), according to the latest “JOLTS” report (Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey) from the Labor Department. Those of April have been revised to 10.320 million, against 10.103 million initially announced.
