Unknown Worlds presents Moonbreaker, a sci-fi tactical

From the depths of the sea to the depths of space, Unknown Worlds has opted for a 180 degree turn for its next title, moonbreaker, presented for the first time during this Gamescom Opening Night Live. This is a strategy game based on the basics of a Warhammer, that is to say turn-based combat where the units of two teams compete in top view, as if observed our figurines on a tray. A “natural passion” in the ranks of this American studio which crosses paths with the pen of the author of fantasy Brandon Sanderson, who will write the script for the game.

Beyond the futuristic coating of this title, which will revolve around the collection of a precious resource called Cinder, the intention is to offer players an experience taking up the codes of the miniature game, starting with all the creative aspect that defines it. It will indeed be possible to paint your units yourself in a dedicated customization tool. The presentation during this Opening Night Live was brief, pending its release in early access on PC and Mac on September 29.
