UNSEEN studio (Ikumi Nakamura) teases its new project KEMURI

KEMURI is content to illustrate its strongly Japanese universe in a succinct teaser: take a large, vertical city, add a nice layer of mysticism, and the game verbs follow each other naturally. As a hunter yokai ascending yamakasiour avatar will have to use the paranormal powers of these creatures from elsewhere to fight against evil in fights described as “frantic“, with the promise of “moral dilemmas” on the “existential themes“, which promises a lot, let it be said. Founded last year in the Japanese capital, UNSEEN claims to be not a simple development studio but rather a “interchange“for artists from here and there, with the aim of”transcend different media beyond that of video games“.

Fear in the city

With his marked artistic touch (logical, you might say), KEMURI is most likely in this direction; with, who knows, future variations of the IP planned in the more or less near future. An affinity with wild exploration that is not a coincidence: Nakamura is preparing to publish Project UrbEx, a photographic collection of his adventures in urban jungles around the world, the release of which in Europe will be handled by the label English Read-Only Memory.
