Good news for champions Salzburg! Kuchler Nicolas Seiwald extended his contract until 2026.
Last season, the 21-year-old experienced a meteoric rise and was an integral part of Matthias Jaissle’s starting XI. Seiwald is a real Salzburg veteran and has played for the Bulls since the U9s. In total, he has already played 65 competitive games for the Mozartstadt team and has now extended his contract, which originally ran until 2024, to 2026. “The development of Nici in the last few years is really amazing. As a club as a whole, this development of a player from the region makes us really proud, and we are very happy about the early contract extension,” says sporting director Christoph Freund. Seiwald is also happy: “I’ve spent almost my whole footballing career here, I’ve learned so much already and I want to continue to do so. That’s why one of my personal goals for the coming season is to repeat last year’s performances.”
