Guido shows himself and his sister in private for the first time

Label, shopping queen, magazine and numerous prizes… But who is Guido really and how did he become who he is today? On July 17th there will be a look behind the scenes for the first time!
The German star designer Guido Maria Kretschmer and shopping queen veteran appears for the first time in private. Together with a camera team, he traces his past. First stop: the village of Einen in North Rhine-Westphalia. Here Guido grew up in a large family with three brothers and one sister.
It is immediately clear that Guido and his sister, who is two years younger, have a particularly close relationship. She reveals: “I was always happy when Guido said, ‘I’ll take little Gudrun with me!'” – because where he is, it’s exciting. Today she is no longer “Little Gudrun”, but a person of the heart, whose advice he is happy to have.
The fast pace of the fashion world does not easily pass the star designer by. While he could hardly say at the time that he wanted to be “a famous designer”, today he is experiencing the dark side of it. “I’ve often been too good-natured,” he explains. That’s enough of that. And also with not having enough time for family and friends who make life worth living.
