After a first postponement, Evil Dead: The Game was supposed to come out this month, but in the end, Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games postponed the launch a second time. The multiplayer game at gameplay asymmetric is therefore expected next May, and as expected, pre-orders have just been launched.
And to celebrate, Evil Dead: The Game is featured on the blog playstationwith first a trailer of gameplay which reveals the pre-order bonuses. Fans will also find other characters like Kelly Maxwell, Pablo Simon Bolivar, Scotty, Lord Arthur or Cheryl Williams. Actors Bruce Campbell, Ellen Sandweiss and Hal Delrich will voice their respective characters, and even if shelly and Linda will not be playable, the actresses Theresea Tilly and Betsy Baker will be there, through audio recordings.
About the deaditesthese demons invoked thanks to the Necronomicon, the developers have taken the sound effects from the movies like their laughs, screams and gruntsand we are even entitled to an image ofHenriettaa playable demon capable of swallowing the souls of survivors. The developers still want to keep the mystery around the Demon Kadarian, watch leader. Finally, the studio recalls that the maps will be based on cult places of the franchise, with obviously the famous cabin in the woodsand we’ll be treated to a bunch of little nods, like the presence of the Delta 88 yellowAsh.
The release date for Evil Dead: The Game is set for May 13, 2022 on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. You can find the complete trilogy of films directed by Sam Raimi at €21.86 on Amazon.
Update : the studios go straight on with the presentation of the different editions of the game. Players will thus have the choice between a simple edition, a Deluxe Edition with game and sound Season Pass 1 (with 4 packs of DLCs at a reduced price) and two large collectors’ editions. The Collector’s Edition will include the game, the Season Pass 1a steel case, the original soundtrack on colored vinyl, a t-shirt, postcards, a art book hardcover and Savini Variant skin for Ash in the game.Ultimate Collector’s Edition will add to all this a replica of the Necronomicon as he appears in the movie Evil Dead 2.
