(Boursier.com) — In the 3rd quarter, the Group Upergy records billings of 10.5 million euros, up +1.2% compared to the 3rd quarter of 2022. This increase is a continuation of the trajectory of the 1st half. The price effect, linked to the increase in sales prices in response to the inflationary context, offsets the cyclical drop in volumes in a gloomy economic environment.

This quarterly development brings the 9-month turnover to €33.5 million, an increase of +1.5% (+2.5% at constant exchange rate) generally in line with expectations.

BtoB activity (89% of activity) continues to grow with an increase in billings of +4% over the 3rd quarter, slightly higher than that recorded in the 1st half (+3%). The BtoC activity (11% of activity) is still in significant decline (-16% over the 3rd quarter) with a reduced offering of the most profitable products.

Outlook

The activity recorded in the 3rd quarter confirms the 2023 objectives targeted by the Group, namely growth in activity and better operational performance than in 2022 thanks to the expected recovery in the gross margin in the second half.

Upergy recalls that discussions and due diligence are continuing with a view to the acquisition of a company in the United Kingdom specializing in batteries which achieves more than 6 ME in annual turnover. This operation could come to fruition, if agreed, in 2024.
