(CercleFinance.com) – For the 6th consecutive year, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield announces that it has obtained an ‘A’ rating from the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) for its actions aimed at combating climate change.
This global non-profit organization thus recognizes URW’s objectives in terms of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, mitigating climate risks and developing a low-carbon economy.
Sylvain Montcouquiol, Director of Resources and Sustainability at URW, said: ‘We are delighted to be named in the CDP A List for the sixth consecutive year, in recognition of the commitments and progress of URW’s Better Places plan , leader in the sector’.
URW’s Better Places plan sets zero emissions targets approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for scopes 1 and 2 by 2030 and for scopes 1, 2 and 3 by 2050.
