US and Saudi Arabia sign 18 formal strategic-media agreements

July 16 (Reuters) – The United States and Saudi Arabia have signed 18 strategic agreements to ensure cooperation between the two countries in energy, investment, communications, space and health , on the occasion of the visit of the American president in the kingdom, reported the Saudi state television.

Joe Biden arrived in Saudi Arabia on Friday for a visit intended to flatten Washington’s relations with a country to which he had promised “pariah” status on the international scene after the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018.
