US orders evacuation of non-essential staff from its embassy and consulate in Iraq

New stage in the rise of tensions in the region: Washington ordered the evacuation of non-essential personnel from its embassy in Baghdad and its consulate in Erbil, Iraq, announced the US State Department Sunday October 22.
