USA: Small improvement in household morale – Michigan


PARIS, Oct 28 (Reuters) – The morale of American households improved a little in October, the final results of the monthly survey from the University of Michigan showed on Friday.

Its confidence index rose to 59.9 from 58.6 in September. A first estimate published two weeks ago had given it at 59.8.

The consumer judgment component on their current situation rose to 65.6 from 59.7 the previous month, but the outlook component fell to 56.2 from 58.0. (Written by Marc Angrand, edited by Matthieu Protard)
