Uwe Bohm, known among other things from “Tatort”, is dead. The German actor died at the age of 60.

The German actor Uwe Bohm (1962-2022) is dead. His fellow actress and wife, Ninon Bohm (51), shared on Instagram. “It is with infinite sadness that we announce the passing of my husband, my son’s beloved father and the great actor Uwe Bohm,” she writes about a picture of Bohm. The actor died “suddenly and unexpectedly” at the age of 60. In an e-mail, she also confirmed this to the German Press Agency.

Uwe Bohm was known from the “crime scene”

Uwe Bohm was born Uwe Grossmann and was the adoptive son of director Hark Bohm (82). He has appeared in numerous television and film productions since the 1970s. Over the years he has had several roles in “Tatort”. In the cinema he could be seen in Fatih Akin’s (48) “Tschick” around 2016 and Bohm was also successful in the theater.

He was “completely speechless,” explains colleague Francis Fulton-Smith (55) in an Instagram comment. “How did that happen?” he wonders. The actor expresses his “heartfelt condolences” to Bohm’s wife and family. “May you find strength and hope in these dark times. And may Uwe always have a handful of stardust under his keel,” Fulton-Smith says goodbye to his friend.
