Roland Lescure was the guest of Touche not at my post this Wednesday, February 9. The deputy created unease by evoking the vaccination pass.
He was transparent. The Covid-19 crisis has been at the center of attention since March 2020. many restrictions have been put in place by the government over the months to eradicate it. These have caused a lot of talk, in particular the sanitary pass then now the vaccination pass, which entered into force on January 15. On the Touche plateau not at my post this Wednesday, February 9, Cyril Hanouna received Marisa, organizer of the “freedom convoy” movement and Gaylord Leduc, a participant. Opposite them was Roland Lescure, LREM deputy who, when he mentioned the vaccination pass, created great discomfort. A debate on the vaccination was launched and the columnists affirmed that, to return on the plate of the emission, it had to have a vaccination pass and that it was checked. Roland Lescure was quite surprised and immediately said: “So, in these cases, I was not asked for mine“. To which Cyril Hanouna retorted: “No ? It’s true ?” before adding: “It’s weird because security asks everyone“. For his part, the deputy confided, in order to prove his good faith: “I have it there, on me, I show it if you want“. A very unexpected revelation, which did not go unnoticed.
A divisive topic. Vaccination against Covid-19 has been at the center of attention for several months. The majority of French people are vaccinated, with three doses for some and others are still reluctant to take the plunge. For his part, Roland Lescure wished to provide details. “We had a choice to make“, he launched. “Either we made the compulsory vaccination for everyoneor we reinforced the constraints on the non-vaccinated so as to favor a not-so-normal life for the unvaccinated“, he continued before adding: “It’s the choice we made“. A choice that caused controversy but which, according to the words of the LREM deputy, allowed restaurants to “remain open on December 31 and sell their stocks unlike Canada where everything was closed“. Afterwards, he claimed: “We were able to wake up. It wasn’t the party of the century but we were able to be with the family“. Facing the columnists, Roland Lescure was also delighted that the schools remained open and that the start of the new school year was not postponed. “Our children went to school. The protocol was complicated, it was a mess but the children were at school”, did he declare. A divisive debate on set.
Roland Lescure: why did the tone go up with Raymond Aabou?
On the set of Cyril Hanouna, the chroniclers do not have their tongue in their pocket and this was the case of Raymond Aabou. Reassembled against the comments made by Roland Lescure, he explained what, in his opinion, was wrong in the management of the epidemic and the non-vaccinated. “Why are most people vaccinated? Because you wanted to take their life away“, he launched. “The choice was to favor those who wanted to be vaccinated“, explained the deputy. “Otherwise we will piss them off“, retorted the columnist. Comments made by Emmanuel Macron a few weeks ago and which did not go unnoticed.
