The world of Valheim is incredibly rich and vast. There we find multiple creatures and resources, with the aim of evolving, making new things, whether to protect, fight, feed or simply build buildings. But to make significant progress, it is sometimes necessary to get your hands on a very specific resource, such as dragon eggs.
Where to find dragon eggs?
As you may have already noticed, the mountain is home to Dracs, which are nothing more than dragons. It is therefore his surprise that he must go to this place in order to obtain dragon eggs. You will have to keep your eyes open, given that despite their size and color, it is not necessarily easy to see them well, if the landscape is not clear.
However, being careful, you shouldn’t miss the dragon egg, which is placed in the center of a stone nest, in order to protect it. There is not necessarily a threat next to these eggs, except for the usual threats of the mountain biome, such as wolves, Dracs or stone golems.
Note, however, that you will need to have space in your inventory, since dragon egg weight is 200kg. It will therefore be necessary to go and get it with empty pockets or almost, or with the belt, allowing you to carry up to 450 kg. This can be purchased from the Merchant. In addition, dragon eggs cannot be teleported.
What are dragon eggs used for in Valheim?
If you don’t know what your dragon eggs, know that they are especially useful, and even essential, in order to invoke the fourth boss, Moder. The latter is in the mountains, of course. But we won’t tell you more, so as not to spoil you, if you’ve never faced it. Three dragon eggs are necessary.
