Following the release of Valheimat the beginning of 2021, many players had tried to reach the World Tree, named Yggdrasil, an important tree in Norse mythology, to no avail. It was impossible to approach it, either by land or by sea. But the developers seem to have worked on this point and soon we will be able to climb on its roots.
Iron Gate has, in fact, shared an image on Twitter in which we see the character stand on one of the roots of the tree. A caption accompanies it, stating that ” you wondered if you would ever be able to walk on Yggdrasil “, implying that this will be the case.

We should also be able to do this thanks to the update of the Mistlands, which will bring, among other things, a new biome. It is probably in this one that we will find roots of Yggdrasil, which could even provide new resources, to make new items. Unfortunately, Iron Gate has still not given a release date for this major update, awaited by the entire community. We have a chance of seeing it arrive by the end of 2022, but the lack of communication on a release window may also mean that we have to wait longer. In any case, the developers take their time to offer us the best possible experience.
