Valheim developers have made a habit of teasing some of the new features that will be implemented in the survival game, particularly in connection with the Mistlands biome. But the next major update will not only concern the new biome, since other points will also be modified, in particular content that we find in “early game”, such as fish.
Iron Gate has actually specified that a major update will be made to the fish ecosystem. We find, for example, several types of fish, some smaller, others larger, but also, we will have the opportunity to exhibit our best catches. In water, it will now be possible to see some of these fish perform a few jumps above the surface.
Finally, one of the creatures that will be introduced to the Mistlands biome has been revealed. We have no information about it, except that it is, a priori, a tick in XXL version.
Finally, the new workbench shows up again, so players can continue their speculation as to its usefulness.
The major Mistlands update still doesn’t have a release date, but we should know more in the coming weeks. There is a good chance that we will welcome it at the start of the 2022 school year. In the meantime, remember that Valheim remains available on PC, through Steam, and that it will arrive in the Game Pass this fall. In the spring of 2023, Valheim will land on Xbox.
