(CercleFinance.com) – Vallourec announces that it has won a major order for line tubes from ExxonMobil Guyana.
As part of this contract, Vallourec will deliver line pipes for ExxonMobil Guyana’s deepwater Uaru project.
The Uaru project is located in the Stabroek block, a strategic basin of 26,800 km2 off the continental shelf of Guyana.
“This contract for Uaru consolidates the strategic partnership between Vallourec and ExxonMobil Guyana, which is already based on a well-filled order book with around 90,000 tonnes (or 520 km) of line tubes ordered since December 2021,” the group said.
