(CercleFinance.com) – Revenue amounted to 3,442 million euros in 2021, up 6% compared to 2020 (+10% at constant exchange rates).
During the fourth quarter of 2021, Vallourec recorded revenue of €1,064 million, up around 28% compared to the fourth quarter of 2020 (+25.5% at constant exchange rates).
Operating income was positive at €374 million for the 2021 financial year, compared to a loss of -€1,002 million in 2020. Net income, Group share, was €40 million. euros in 2021, compared to -€1,206 million in 2020.
“Vallourec is targeting a further improvement in its EBITDA for the 2022 financial year compared to 2021. The first quarter will be impacted by the incident at the iron mine and certain inflationary pressures and Vallourec expects a rebound in the second quarter,” indicates the group.
