Episode 4 act 3 of Valorant is fast approaching. Riot Game took advantage of Valorant’s Masters Reykjavík to formalize the arrival of a new agent who will overshadow the rest of the cast.
A new agent arrives in Valorant. The first Riot Games production not to take place in the Runeterra universe, the tactical shooter quickly found its audience. Valorant already had more than 14 million active players in June 2021 and the studio regularly releases new content to retain them. More concretely, it is divided into Episodes spread over several acts. Each adds major updates with new features. And we now know more about the final act of Episode 4.
Fade, an agent lurking in the shadows
This chapter will be marked by the arrival of Fade, a new agent who had already leaked on the web a few days earlier. It’s now official, she will join the battle and support her comrades with her abilities allowing her to master a nightmarish shadow. This pet of another kind will be able to swoop down on its enemies in many ways.
Lurking in the shadows, ready to attack, Fade leaves his enemies no respite, and tracks them relentlessly on the lookout for their fears to disturb them before breaking them. This Initiator-type agent haunts all who venture into the darkness of her inky, turning every little shadowy thing into a nightmarish sight.
A new Battle Pass for Valorant
For example, one of his powers allows him to project an orb on the ground which will pull nearby players to the center once it explodes. He can also turn into a scout and reveal the position of the opponents or even chase one of them. This 19th agent is thus presented as the best alternative to Sova, who was until then the only one to be heavily based on recognition.
It will be available this week, at the same time as the next big Valorant update. As usual, this patch will be accompanied by a new Battle Pass with rewards, both free and paid. On the menu, a lucky charm, weapon skins, graffiti and a player card.
