PARIS, January 18 (Reuters) – The stocks to follow on Tuesday on the Paris Stock Exchange and in Europe:

* ORANGE ORAN.PA – The Elysée Palace has taken a stand in favor of the candidacy of Christel Heydemann, current manager of Schneider Electric SCHN.PA in Europe, to take over the general management of Orange ORAN.PA, BFM Business reports on Tuesday on its website.

* VIVENDI VIV.PA announced on Tuesday an 8.5% stake in the digital communication group Progressive Media, without specifying the amount of this investment.

* EDF EDF.PA – Moody’s and S&P Global Ratings announced on Monday evening that they were placing their group’s credit rating on watch for a possible downgrade and Fitch Ratings reduced its rating to BBB+ from A-.
