PARIS, Feb 1 (Reuters) – Key stocks to watch on Tuesday on Wall Street where major index futures suggest an open with little change for the Dow Jones, Standard & Poor’s 500 and Nasdaq:

* AT&T on Tuesday announced the split from WarnerMedia in a $43 billion (€38.16 billion) deal to bring its media business closer to that of DISCOVERY. AT&T shares fell 3.1% in pre-market trading.

* EXXON MOBIL reported on Tuesday a quarterly profit of 8.87 billion dollars (7.8 billion euros), the largest amount recorded by the group in seven years which has benefited in particular from the outbreak of energy course. The action gains 1.2% in pre-market.

* UPS announced on Tuesday that it expects full-year sales to beat expectations on the back of higher delivery rates and strong e-commerce demand. The action jumped 5.6% before the market.

* TESLA – The automaker will recall nearly 54,000 vehicles sold in the United States between 2016 and 2022 that are equipped with the full autonomous driving system (FSD) allowing certain models not to stop completely at certain intersections. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the US national traffic safety authority, considers them to be a safety risk. Tesla shares fell 1% ahead of the market.

* MICROSOFT, ACTIVISION BLIZZARD – Microsoft’s proposed $68.7 billion takeover of Activision will be reviewed by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the US Federal Trade Commission, Bloomberg reported on Monday, citing a source close to the case.

* GENERAL MOTORS must publish its quarterly results before the opening of Wall Street.

* ALPHABET, ELECTRONIC ARTS, PAYPAL and STARBUCKS are due to publish their quarterly accounts after the close of the New York Stock Exchange.

* META PLATFORMS, SILVERGATE CAPITAL – The group specializing in digital currencies announced on Monday evening an agreement with Meta, Facebook’s parent company, to acquire the assets of Diem (ex-Libra), the virtual currency that the social network wanted to create. The action Silvergate Capital takes 9.4% in pre-market.

* PFIZER, BIONTECH – The two laboratories should submit this Tuesday to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the health authority in the United States, an application for approval of their vaccine against COVID-19 for children aged six months to five years, the Washington Post reported Monday.

* Shares of Wall Street-listed Chinese electric-vehicle makers rose in forecourt on Tuesday after the release of their January delivery figures. NIO takes 0.3%, XPENG 0.9% and LI AUTO 1.3%.
