A real phenomenon on the independent scene last year, to the point of winning the prize for Game of the Year to BAFTA Games Awards 2023, vampire survivors spent several months in Early Access on PC and Xbox before arriving in version 1.0 last October. He has already had a first DLCs, Legacy of the MoonspellAnd the second extension has just landed :
Tides of the Foscari is available since today and it is even entitled to its launch trailer. As shown in the short video above, the DLCs add eight new characters, 13 new weapons, 7 new music tracks and a new levelthe independent developer pumice details it all:
Tides of the Foscari, the second DLC for Vampire Survivors, introduces you to a huge level as well as additional characters, monsters, and weapons. The dark canopies of the woods may hold secrets, but again, we can neither confirm nor deny the presence of vampires…
Nestled in the hollow of a gigantic forest, the Foscari Academy is an elite school for formidable mages, tireless soldiers and skillful yarn-pullers in the making. It is divided into three houses: unheard of in a fantasy fiction. Three students from each house set off to venture into a forest populated by mythological creatures to live a beautiful adventure that nothing and no one will disturb. Hard to get more original and phenomenal than that, right? And that’s not all !

- Eleanor : a model student of the Azure Tower and expert practitioner of magic. She is as bright as she is shy;
- Maruto : The undefeated champion of the Scarlet Anvil. A tight-lipped man with a scowl and bulging muscles who hides a heart of gold;
- Keitha : cunning, shrewd and playful, she lives only for adventure and frivolity. In order to avoid hassle, she prefers to play the bad student for the Amber Sickle;
- Lamp : a powerful, pure-hearted ancient witch, guardian of Lake Foscari. She is nicknamed the Lady of the Lake or the Mistress of the trees.
13 new weapons :
A variety of one-of-a-kind weapons…that don’t reference anything, we promise.
- SpellString : Eleanor’s manual, which teaches her everything there is to know about magic.
- Excuzzibur : Maruto’s blacksmith uncle made it as a joke, but his nephew managed to lift it against all odds.
- Flash Arrow : Keitha’s homemade arrows are able to pierce a tree, and by extension the knee of opponents.
- prismatic missile : The spirits bestowed this fragment of elemental power on Luminaire to thank her for protecting the natural world.
