In Fendels (Landeck district) in Tyrol, the police are looking for witnesses after unknown perpetrators opened several barrels of cement accelerator on Tuesday evening.
According to the police, the unknown suspects struck between 8:10 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. in the storage area of a construction site on Fendler Landesstrasse: They opened the outlet tap on several plastic barrels, causing around 4,000 liters of cement accelerator to leak out. The fire department had to come out to bind the liquid. The extent of the damage caused by the act of vandalism cannot yet be quantified. The police are now looking for the unknown perpetrators who may have opened the outlet tap and are asking for information from the public. A cyclist is said to have been in the area shortly before the incident; he was between 35 and 40 years old.
