Vanessa Bryant (38) and her late husband Kobe (1978-2020) met and fell in love on November 27, 1999. The basketball star's widow now remembered this special day on Instagram.
"Love at first sight 11/27/99. # 21," wrote Vanessa Bryant for a joint photo. It shows Kobe Bryant with his arms around his wife. It hugs him closely. Two years after getting to know each other, the two married and had four daughters: Natalia (* 2003), Gianna (2006-2020), Bianka (* 2016) and Capri (* 2019).

But luck broke on January 26, 2020: Kobe Bryant and 13-year-old daughter Gianna were killed in a helicopter crash near Los Angeles. Seven other people were also torn from their lives in the accident. The plane's pilot had apparently lost his bearings in the thick fog.
