Vanguard: A disappointing season 2 despite the novelties of Zombies?

This week was placed under the sign of the roadmaps for season 2 of Call of Duty Vanguard, and if the Multiplayer will be equipped with several new features including new maps, new modes including the long-awaited Classified, the Zombies will not be outdone.

We have indeed learned that the Zombies will host a brand new hub through the map Terra Maledicta and this will allow you to go to three new arenas: Corrupted Lands, Eastern Desert and Hall of Thruth.

If this may seem rather attractive at first glance, players may quickly become disillusioned.

A disappointing season 2 for Zombies despite new maps?

On social networks and more particularly Twitter, a call of duty insider and more particularly an expert in Zombies did not hesitate to say clearly what he thought of the new features announced.

At first glance, we could tell ourselves that there is finally more content through the arenas and the new hub, but a problem persists all the same. According to TheGamingRevolutionVanguard’s biggest flaw is indeed the fact that Zombies players will find themselves, certainly in new maps, but with objectives that will be exactly the same as those of Der Anfang.

According to him, we couldn’t even really qualify the arenas and the hub as new maps since the objectives remain the same. It is neither more nor less than a gross change of environment.

However, Treyarch seems to want to persist in this direction of goals to accomplish since season 2 will bring a new one with “Sacrifice”. Moreover, the studio had adopted this guideline in Black Ops Cold War with the Contagion mode. But this one was much more interesting despite the redundancy of the latter since we could walk around in huge maps.

In a few hours, Call of Duty Vanguard players will be able to discover the new season through Season 2. If the novelties will be there, certain elements of the Zombies mode have unfortunately had to deal with impatient players…
