Vanguard sales have plummeted in the UK

call of duty vanguard unfortunately seems not to have found its audience in the UK. After becoming Call of Duty’s most failed launch in 14 years, here comes the sales of the Sledgehammer Games title have dropped drastically by 36%.

Vanguard sales down 36% in UK

Subject to problems of recent weeks, call of duty vanguard has indeed become the most shunned game in the Call of Duty community. His predecessor, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War had indeed sold better than this one in the country of the Queen of England according to information revealed by GamesIndustry.biz, which follows an earlier report by VGC.

According to GSD figures, Vanguard is still the UK’s second best-selling game of 2021, just behind FIFA 22.

Furthermore, other data show more on so-called physical and digital sales, still coming from GSD, and thus indicate that Sledgehammer Games title was well and truly down 36.1% from Cold War.

In the United States, the figures showed that Vanguard was also the second best-selling game when it released in November 2021, but failed to top those of Black Ops Cold War.

More recently, the leaker and journalist Tom Henderson hinted that the next Call of Duty, which would be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, should be formalized during this summer of 2022 for an earlier release than the others, in October and not in November as usual. This information most likely contributed to Vanguard’s declining sales, so players are most certainly expecting a lot more Modern Warfare 2.

In addition, the game was in direct competition with another mainstay of FPS, Battlefield 2042, who, unfortunately, is also going through dark times.

With the next updates planned on Vanguard, we can perhaps hope for a recovery in sales with, it is hoped, an increase in these.

Since the mid-season 1 update of Call of Duty Vanguard but also of Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific, nothing is going well for players of the title from Sledgehammer Games. After several bugs identified, the latter claim an improvement in the quality of life.
