Vanguard’s indispensable asset to counter dogs

Call of Duty: Vanguard’s attack dogs were so powerful because there was nothing available to counter them, but that’s over.

On the Call of Duty franchise, Attack Dogs made their first appearance in World at War, allowing players to deploy a pack of vicious hounds ready to devour you without making a chunk. They are back on Vanguard this year but not without issues, they teleported away and greatly frustrated players who couldn’t get rid of them.

Until now, there was no concrete way to counter these rabid animals. But that changed in the January 27 Vanguard update with the Cold Blooded perk which should now help you well against that point streak bonus.

Attack dogs are making a comeback on Vanguard, but bugs are hot on their heels.

Vanguard’s Stealth perk allows you to counter attack dogs

Your Vanguard Multiplayer experience really changes when a player achieves a 10 kill streak without dying and unleashes their attack dogs. This player just has to wait for these dogs to do the job for him, being able to wait in a corner while collecting kills.

For several months, many gamers have been waiting for Sledgehammer Games to do something to nerf the dogs or find a way to counter them. This is now done with the latest game update which states: “Cold Blood now protects dogs.”

The description of the Cold Blood perk has always been: “AI-controlled point streaks won’t target you.” But this was surely a mistake because the attack dogs, which have always been led by artificial intelligence, still chased players equipped with this asset.
