Pastel colors define spring

"Illuminating" may be the trend color in 2021, but in spring pastel tones dominate – above all light vanilla.
Pastel colors are very popular in 2021. The color yellow in particular is likely to play an important role in the fashion scene. The color institute Pantone predicted that in the coming months everything would revolve around the radiant color "Illuminating". With vanilla, however, a much finer yellow seems to prevail.
Vanilla is a very light yellow that almost looks a little faded and is reminiscent of cream or eggshell in slight touches. Other pastel colors such as lilac, baby blue or powder pink can best be combined with the shade. But a monochrome look or combinations with earth tones can also work. While the Danish street style great Jeanette Madsen wears a baby blue trench coat with trousers and a knitted sweater in vanilla, influencer Leonie Hanne (32) presents a wide quilted coat in the trendy color, harmoniously complemented by pieces in cream and sand.
